Kaley Cuoco

Prior to "The Big Bang Theory," Kaley Cuoco was best known to television audiences for her role as Bridget Hennesy in the series "8 Simple Rules."  She won a Teen Choice Award for her role and was featured in TV Guide's "Generation Now" and Vanity Fair's "Teenage It" lists.

Last year, Cuoco starred in the television movie "Fat Like Me," in which she portrayed a student who goes undercover to expose the misconceptions about weight issues in young people.   She also starred in the TV movies "Growing Up Brady" and "Crimes of Fashion," and appeared in the miniseries "Dean Koontz's Mr. Murder."

Her other television credits include recurring roles in "Ladies Man" and "Charmed," and guest appearances on "Prison Break," "7th Heaven," "My So-Called Life" and "Ellen," in which she played a young Ellen DeGeneres in flashbacks.   She often lends her voice to animated television shows including "Brandy and Mr. Whiskers" and "Bratz."
Cuoco's feature film credits include "Debating Robert Lee," "Farewell Bender," "The Hollow," "Picture Perfect," "Can't Be Heaven," "Lucky 13" and "Virtuosity."

She is a gifted tennis player who is currently a ranked amateur in the Southern California Tennis Association, as well as an avid horseback rider.  She also enjoys hiking, running, going to the gym and spending time with her rescue dogs, Petey, Leo and Zeus.  She is involved in charities including the Elisabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, The Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Foundation (EBMRF), Animal Avengers and PETA.

Cuoco was born in Camarillo, Calif. She currently lives in Los Angeles. Her birth date is Nov. 30.
